Mr. Ali Tahar Adam — President of Zalla Camel Club, Libya — Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Tergui International Mahari Festival. A professional active in the field of Saharan heritage and camel sports, focused on supporting Saharan communities and strengthening their cultural and social presence. His work is dedicated to the preservation and development of traditional desert heritage, with an emphasis on knowledge exchange and cooperation between Saharan communities and international partners, including European stakeholders interested in cultural and sporting heritage.
As Secretary General of the International Camel Organization, Mr. Alieedan leads the planning and implementation of the ICO’s strategic vision, driving global cooperation, research, and institutional growth. Under his leadership, the ICO has expanded its international presence and strengthened partnerships. He actively champions the cultural importance of camels in communities worldwide and promotes their role in sustainable development.
